After much group effort, hard work and resistance to threats of closure, we are absolutely delighted to announce our nomination for the Best Arts Project award, run by the National Lottery.
From June 22nd until July 10th, we will be trying to gather as much support and votes from everyone to try and make it to the final stage of the competition. So if you've ever worked with us, used our facilities, picked our brains, helped us with events, come to an event, heard about what we do, liked what we do, not liked what we do, but believe in the power of independence and creativity or just want to help...please vote for us!
* If you're interested in becoming a Unit 5 resident and would like to arrange a viewing of available studios, please complete the contact sheet and include the following in the message section:
1) a brief paragraph about your background.
2) details about any previous studios/ groups you've been a part of.
3) info. about your aspirations for the year ahead.
4) what you need from Unit 5.
5) what you feel you can bring to the studio group.
