The Alpha Principle Arts Association is established to support under-represented artists and creative entrepreneurs with self funded projects.

It was created in early 2005, initially as an alternative to mainstream contemporary art and culture, to make room for those who are out of the pigeon holes and to attempt to break down some of the popular, social misconceptions about creative thinkers.

The core aims and ambitions of the association are listed below:

//The aim of the association is to create solid foundations for the development and increase of cultural activities that are led by individuals who are not financially privileged. A.P.A.A. also aims to re-affirm the social influence and impact of these individuals in modern day society by providing a platform for free artistic expression and discussion.

//The A.P.A.A. will achieve this by developing a network of independent projects that are financially sustainable and beneficial to the community of artists around it, where ideas and partnerships may become realised.

//Unit 5 is the first of these projects, providing 16 artists & musicians with affordable studio spaces and facilities.
